The Austrian Business Circle is an informal, Chamber of Commerce-like, group of Austrian businesses operating in Bulgaria, along with their Bulgarian counterparts. Jet Systems is one of the ABC's charter members. When ABC leaders inquired about the possibility of doing a WWW site for the organization, Jet Systems volunteered to design the site and bring it on-line.
The idea was for the site to be an information resource for ABC members and their business partners, existing or potential. "Information resource" is a broad term: it can mean anything from a flat brochure-like page to a hosting site for a virtual community. Given that most ABC members are not high-technology companies, we opted to start with a simple design: a brochure-like site, plus a searchable online directory.
